Spencer's Shady Grove Kennel is located in the beautiful Shady Grove neighborhood, just outside of Cabool, Missouri. We raise great quality, AKC registered Boxers and AKC registered English Mastiffs. We provide our dogs the best care possible along with plenty of love. Our Boxers and Mastiffs are part of our family. We strive to raise the highest quality puppies and to provide them and their parents with the best care possible. Our puppies are raised with lots of TLC from us, our children, and our grandchildren so you can be sure they have been pre-spoiled and very socialized before leaving us. We believe a puppy should be a member of your family and should live inside your home with you. Puppies should be given every opportunity to have a healthy and happy life. We try to make sure our puppies are placed in loving homes where they will receive the best life has to offer them! We are proud to be a member in good standing with AKC (American Kennel Club) and are registered in the AKC's Bred With Heart program.
We are licensed with the State of Missouri and USDA. We are regularly inspected by the Missouri Department of Agriculture, United States Department of Agriculture, and AKC (American Kennel Club). We have always passed our inspections and have never had any non compliant issues. We are always praised by our inspectors for having a top quality kennel. Our licensed veterinarian comes to our home to see all of our dogs on a regular basis so he can inspect them and provide them with a thorough, hands on well check up in addition to all regular veterinarian care.
We are active members of Missouri Pet Breeders Association, Missouri Animal Husbandry Association, Tri County Pet Breeders Kennel Club, and Missouri Farm Bureau. As members of these organizations, we receive the most up to date news, education, and veterinarian tips that help us take the best possible care of our dogs. Being a member of AKC's Bred with Heart program means we provide our dogs with important genetic health testing that can rule out health problems with our puppies. Our dogs have received testing for their eyes, hearts, patellas, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Canine Multifocal Retinopathy (CMR1), Dominant PRA (PRA-D), and Hyperuricosuria (HU).

Please enjoy the slide show below that features our large, state of the art, climate controlled kennel. Our dogs have lots of room and plenty of comfort. They enjoy central heat and air inside but they can go outside at their leisure. We keep the temperature at approximately 70 degrees year round. Our dogs are never left outside in the extreme temperatures. Our kennel is in our backyard. We have living quarters in it for us also because we spend as much time in there as our dogs do.
