PURCHASING YOUR PUPPY
All puppies will come with a one year health guarantee, current vaccinations, registration papers, all health records, and a veterinarian's certificate of health. All puppies will receive a complete veterinarian checkup and will be microchipped before they leave me. They will also go to their new home with a sample bag of their puppy food. No puppy will be allowed to leave me until they are at least 8 weeks of age. We only sell our puppies as pets with limited AKC registration so they are family pets, not to be used for breeding purposes. We feel this allows us to find the most loving, family friendly homes for our puppies.
*Microchipping is the best way to assure the safe return of your pet if he or she gets lost or stolen!

If you are able to drive to Spencer's Shady Grove Kennel in Cabool, Missouri, to pick up your new puppy, that is great and is of course, the best option. However, if you are not able to come here, delivery of your new puppy is available by ground transport. We can arrange delivery to almost anywhere in the U. S. for an additional fee. The cost of delivery depends on the size, age, and weight of the puppy as well as the delivery location if we use a pet transport company. However, we prefer to personally deliver your puppy to you ourselves if you can't come here to pickup. The cost for us to deliver ourselves will be determined based on the distance we travel to deliver. This isn't always the most economical option but it is the safest and best option for the puppy. Once payment is received in full, I will make all of the travel arrangements needed to get your puppy to you. Please contact us to discuss these options.

A non-refundable deposit will hold the puppy of your choice until he or she is old enough to leave me. No payments or deposits will be refunded so please make sure you are ready to adopt the puppy of your choice before making payment.
To purchase or reserve your puppy using paypal or a credit or debit card, please click on the "buy now" button below. A fee of 6% will be charged for every transaction made. This fee covers tax and the fees that paypal charges me to use their service.
If you cannot keep your new family member for whatever reason, please contact me first before you rehome him or her. We do not give refunds but we would be happy to help you find your pet a new home, if you cannot keep him or her. We try to make sure our puppies go to forever homes but we do understand life can be unpredictable so please let us know first, if you cannot keep your puppy/dog. I realize some people think it is best to take their dog to a rescue or shelter if they can't keep them but that is not always a good situation at these facilities. They may be shuffled around, left alone, or not well cared for at some rescues/shelters. Please contact us before resorting to a rescue or shelter if you can't keep your puppy/dog.
Puppy Food
We feed our puppies Nutri Source brand puppy food. This is a good quality food that can be easily found almost anywhere in the United States. We highly recommend you keep feeding your new puppy the same food he/she has been eating while with us. A puppy has a lot of changes to adjust to when he/she goes to a new home so it is important to keep their food the same. Too many changes can upset their belly and cause a lot of stress that can be very harmful for young puppies. We free feed our puppies so they can eat as much as they want, whenever they want it. This is important to new puppies that are just learning to eat solid foods and also when they are transitioning from nursing to only eating puppy food. Our Boxer puppies are fed Nutri Source small/medium breed puppy food. Our Mastiffs are fed Nutri Source large breed puppy food. We always send a sample size bag of puppy food home with our puppies but it will only be enough for the first day. Please plan ahead and have a large bag of puppy food ready when bringing home your new puppy.
